Chinese Stir-Fried Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons water or light stock

Instructions

  • Heat a wok or skillet over high heat and add oil.
  • Add green beans and stir-fry until slightly wrinkled.
  • Add garlic and stir quickly until fragrant.
  • Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, white pepper, salt, and water.
  • Toss and cook until beans are crisp-tender and glossy.
  • Serve hot.
