Ingredients
2poundsboneless skin-on chicken thighs
½cupsoy sauce
½cupmirin
¼cupsake
2tablespoonssugar
1tablespoonneutral oil
2green onionssliced (optional)
1teaspoonsesame seedsoptional
Instructions
Pat chicken thighs dry.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook chicken skin-side down for 5–7 minutes until crispy.
Flip and cook 4–5 minutes more.
Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar.
Add sauce to skillet.
Simmer and glaze chicken, turning frequently, for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
Slice chicken and spoon sauce over top.
